Cushion Cloud® Construction allows the comfort layers to provide proper spinal alignment and pressure relief so the mattress will properly conform to the body. Mattress conformity provides better weight distribution and less pressure on any given area of the body, eliminating the need to toss and turn to find a comfortable position.

Tempur-Pedic features TEMPUR® material is "open cell" and polyurethane based. It is NOT latex or conventional foam. The open cell structure is breathable and promotes air flow. Air, water and gel systems are all "closed" systems that displace pressure instead of absorbing and relieving it. Air is pushed out of the TEMPUR® cells when pressure is applied. When the pressure is removed, the cells automatically "reinflate" to return to their original shape. This structure also promotes the dissipation of heat to keep individuals cool and comfortable.
